John Bamford

Mr. Bamford's practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on securities litigation and employment issues.  Mr. Bamford has extensive experience arbitrating industry and customer disputes on behalf of major wire house broker dealers before FINRA.  He also has experience successfully resolving FINRA regulatory inquiries.  Mr. Bamford’s litigation experience encompasses a wide variety of complex business and employment claims including trade secret claims, unfair competition and antitrust claims, 17200 claims, wrongful termination claims, employment discrimination claims and wage and hour claims.  Mr. Bamford also has specialized expertise in the emerging field of data breach, with experience advising numerous national clients following highly publicized data breach incidents.

Mr. Bamford received his B.A. in History with a specialization in Business Administration from UCLA in 1999.  Mr. Bamford earned his J.D. cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2003 where he served as the literary editor of the Pepperdine Law Review.  Mr. Bamford is admitted to practice in California, before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  Before joining Palmer Lombardi & Donohue, Mr. Bamford was a Senior Associate at a large international law firm.
